Victoria Motorsports Park brings together an impressive variety of machinery, from heavily modified street cars and classic Australian muscle to purpose-built drag racing machines capable of astonishing performance. Every event offers a unique combination of horsepower, competition, mechanical innovation and the passionate people who make it all happen.
Having spent many years photographing Australian speedway, expanding my motorsport coverage into drag racing has been an exciting experience. As both a professional photographer and Chartered Professional Engineer with a background in vehicle design and systems engineering, I have a particular appreciation for the technology behind these remarkable machines. My photography aims to capture more than just the racing action, exploring the engineering, mechanical details, preparation, people and atmosphere that make each event special.
